Alpine Veterinary is a small, independent practice in the centre of Ambleside. Three vets, four nurses, and a focus on long-term relationships with pets and the people who love them.
We're not part of a corporate group. We're owned and run by the same vets who'll see your dog. We make decisions based on what's right for the animal and the family — not what hits a quarterly target.

Vaccinations, microchipping, neutering, dental work, regular health checks.
Health Plans
Monthly preventative care plans from £18 — vaccines, boosters, parasite control included.
Surgery
Soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery on-site. Specialist referrals where needed.
Diagnostics
On-site x-ray, ultrasound, in-house lab. Most results same-day.
Home Visits
Across the Ambleside, Coniston and Hawkshead area. £45 home call out + treatment.
End-of-Life Care
Compassionate, unhurried care at home or at the surgery. Whatever feels right.
