A small studio. Considered work.
Founded in 2014, Atelier is led by a team of seven architects, designers, and project managers working from a studio in Hackney, London.
We take on projects where the brief is more than a building — where light, materiality, and atmosphere matter as much as square footage. Our practice is RIBA-chartered, and we work with a tight network of builders, fabricators, and craftspeople we trust.
We are currently open to enquiries for projects starting autumn 2026.
Three principles that shape every project.
Site First
Every project starts with the site, the orientation, and what's already there. We design with rather than against.
Honest Materials
Stone, timber, lime, brick. Materials chosen to age well — not to look good only on day one.
Considered Detail
Detailing is where the architecture lives. We draw every junction, every shadow gap, every reveal.
