A small country hotel,
generously run.
A 200-year-old townhouse, quietly restored, run by people who care.
Twelve bedrooms above an open kitchen, a courtyard garden, and a small bar. Each room is unique, restored over four years using local craftspeople, traditional materials, and a long talk with the planners.
We're a family-run hotel — not a chain, not branded, no cookie-cutter guest experience. The same people you book with are the people who'll greet you at the door.
Twelve rooms, no two alike.

Stay, dine, gather.
Beyond the rooms — a working restaurant, a small spa, and event spaces for weddings and gatherings.

Welcome
Check-in is in our drawing room over a glass of something. No queues, no lanyards, no upsells.
Quiet
We turn the music off at 10pm. We don't ring rooms after 9. We respect the reason you came.
Departure
Late check-out as standard. We'd rather you leave properly than rushed.
“The Cotswold House is exactly what a small country hotel should be — beautifully restored, quietly run, and full of the kind of detail you only get when the people running it actually live there.”
